    • The section includes 6 stations and 5 interstations, with a total construction length of 31.816 km.

Construction Difficulties

  • Complex Geological Strata:

    • The section passes through a variety of complex geological formations, including soft soils, sand layers, and rock strata.

  • Major Risks:

    • The TBM will sequentially pass beneath several critical structures and risk zones, including:

      • Integrated Utility Tunnels

      • Airport Runways

      • Airport Terminal Building

      • Airport Drainage Culverts

      • Subway Line 12 Airport East Station

      • Ramp Bridges

      • Golf Course

Jello-Mud Results

  • Jello-Mud was injected through the mid-shield reserved grouting holes to form an annular pressurized ring to maintain soil chamber pressure

  • Soil chamber pressure was maintained and screw conveyer had no more soil-spewing.
